Do you charge for a quote?
No. Quotes are free and come with no obligation. If a site visit is needed to assess the work, the call-out fee applies.
How does the call-out fee work?
A fixed R500 for every on-site visit within 30 km of KwaDukuza, whatever the outcome. It covers travel and the first 30 minutes on site, for example assessing the problem or a quick fix. Further work, parts and software are quoted before we continue.
Do you travel further than 30 km?
Yes, anywhere in South Africa. Within driving distance we add R4.95 per kilometre beyond 30 km, there and back (the SARS prescribed rate for 2026/27). For longer trips we send a written travel quote first: transport, accommodation if an overnight stay is needed, and on-site time. Several clients in the same area can share the travel cost.
Do urgent or after-hours visits cost more?
Yes. Visits outside business hours, on weekends or public holidays, or within a few hours of your call are charged at 1.5 times the normal rate, and we confirm this before we come out.
What if I cancel or I’m not there?
Cancel at least 24 hours before the visit at no cost. If we arrive and can’t get access, or you cancel later than that, the call-out fee still applies.
Can you help remotely?
Yes. Many software, email, Microsoft 365 and account issues can be fixed remotely, anywhere in South Africa, with no call-out fee.
How do payments work for projects?
Larger projects are usually split into a deposit before work starts and the balance on completion. The exact terms are on your written quote.
Do you support what you build?
Yes. We stay available after handover for fixes, updates and advice, and can agree an ongoing support arrangement if you need one.
